The dress material is very thin and transparent., the caption stated mermaid, yet its a straight cut very short in lengh yet i ordered a bigger size as well, not at all what i expected

Slight sheer to it.
It was my first time purchasing so should maybe have taken a Large instead of Medium, as I generally am a Medium but im guessing the sizes ran small so rather take a size up
